Drum Priming is very suitable for the controlled hydration to a predetermined water content of the seed. Seeds like hemp of cannabis are therefore pre-germinated in rotating drums, with the objective to have a faster and uniform seed emergence. High capacities can be easily achieved by increasing the number of drums positions.
